Collars
Cut from the same premium latigo hides as our leashes and traffic leads, the leather for our dog collars comes from a section of the hide closer to the belly, naturally softer and more flexible, for an ultimately comfortable fit. All collars are lined with butter-rich, soft deer or elk suede, every bit as soft and comfortable as it looks.
Collar lengths given are measured to the first buckle hole and to the last. When choosing a length for a buckle collar, take a snug neck measurement on the neck where you want the collar to sit. Be sure your measurement is snug (but not tight), and choose a length that allows for adjustment in either direction. Do not use an old collar measurement, as a new collar will fit and wear differently than an old, worn collar with the same measurement. In 1/2" or 5/8" width collars the buckle punches are set 1/2" apart. In all widths 3/4" and above punches are at 3/4" intervals.
